Sandy Oasis

Sandy Oasis sits quietly in the Sandy Ridge neighborhood. The home has a large living room area that leads out to the back patio deck and pool area. The living room has comfortable seating for the family with a bonus 3-1 traditional style gaming table on which people can play bumper pool.The kitchen area is a quaint space to pack lunches on the go or meals for the entire family. Next to the kitchen there is a breakfast/dining nook area, great dining area for formal dinners with loved ones.

This house has three bedrooms. One king master bedroom with private bathroom and shower, with the door that leads to the pool. The queen bedroom also has its own private bathroom with a shower, toilet and large mirror with great lighting. The twin bedroom is great for kids or teens to share.

There are three TVs in the home. One in the living room and one in each double bedroom.

The outside dining area is a family favorite. Enjoy nice lunches and dinners poolside, while sitting on the deck and watching the kids play out in the pool. Enjoy a relaxing time in the private pool or spa--with lounge chairs on the deck.

Enjoy all that Orlando has to offer such as the theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, Discovery Cove, Aquatica and other attraction such as I-Drive, City Walk & Disney Springs; Shopping malls such as The Mall at Millenia, The Florida Mall and The Outlet Mall. Sports events include Orlando City soccer and Orlando Magic basketball.

Just over an hour drive away you will find some of Florida’s favorite beaches such as Cocoa Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach, New Smyrna Beach & Daytona Beach.

The property was lovely. We all had a great time. The hot tub was awesome. We even got a visit from a black bear one night. The property was very clean, and we loved having 3 full bathrooms. Would love to have a vacuum available for daily maintenance of the carpets but we made do with the broom. I love cooking and would have loved a bit more variety of utensils and better pots in the kitchen but what we did have was adequate. The driveway is pretty narrow and could be difficult to enter and exit with a larger/longer vehicle like ours, especially since there are several cars parked along the street. A peephole at the front door would be great since there are no windows around the door to see who’s there, but the neighborhood felt very safe. Overall, we had a great time and the kids didn’t want to leave. We would definitely return.

A simple place to stay during your vacation

This place does its job. You arrive to FL, drive to your Airbnb, swim for a bit in the pool or relax in the hot tub. You’ll then shower, eat, brush your teeth and straight to sleep. The beds aren’t so comfy. There’s no relaxing and watching your favorite Netflix series you’ve been binging on as there’s no smart tv. Want to drink coffee and relax by the pool? Will not be happening as there is no coffee pot to make your coffee unless you go old school and make your coffee on the stove top. Other than these few things the place is a good stay. 3 full baths for those that stay with a nice size family. The area is super quiet and friendly. And the house is nice and cozy outside of the 3 things mentioned above. Publix is 6 mins away in both directions. Gas stations and restaurants as well.

We loved our stay. The house was clean, the pool was great (the kids had a blast) beds were comfortable. We will be back as this was the perfect size for our family. We loved that there was not only three bedrooms but three full bathrooms as well.

Nice house, unhappy with the service

The house was clean and comfortable but the pool heat was broken for our entire stay. Despite informing the office of the issue multiple times, they did not fix it or offer a refund/discount because we were unable to use the pool. I would stay away because they don’t make an effort to solve problems

Chana, thank you for your review regarding your stay at Sandy Oasis. We do regret the pool heat downtime during your stay, as it was noted by our staff during their visit to the home to check on this item that the pool heater appeared to be cutting on and off intermittently. Our licensed pool heat vendor went out to the home to take a look at found that the wiring of the pool heater's connection had given out, rendering a bad intermatic connection and was out of their scope of work. After contacting our electrician, he stated this would also be out of his scope of work due to the area in which the wiring was located. Finally, after contacting a pool contractor, we were able to find someone that could repair this, however, they did not availability for repairs until after your departure. The pool heat is included complimentary during the Winter months, as downtimes can occur unexpectedly, especially due to the outdoor temperatures being much lower than the rest of the year in Florida. We truly do regret the impact this had on your stay and we hope that you will allow us another opportunity in the future. All the best, The Florida Spirit Team

The pool and hot tub were nice, but there were several issues that we called on early in our stay for which we did not receive any response or effort to rectify the problems.

Sandy Oasis Stay

My stay was in a good area as well as the place being clean & pictures look the same as in person. I had a few issues. I stayed for 6 nights and paid over $770 to only receive one roll of paper tissue & one roll of bath tissue in each toilet. My first night the water was turn off and I had to contact the place twice before someone reached out to me which was at 8:30pm that night. The pool got dirty and has algae in it because it was raining which i understood but I had to call for three days until someone came. When I was contacted after calling numerous times I was told someone would come that same day and they came the day after. The host who i rented from directly was completely unresponsive.

This was our second time staying at this house. We all loved the house and the location. The house and pools were very clean! The furniture could use some updates; the king size bed wasn't very comfortable this time or the last time either. One of the twin beds (next to the window) was very hard and springs were coming through. The queen bed the headboard wiggled, when you moved it would clang on the wall. The couch in the living room sagged in the middle, if you had more than two people on the couch, the one in the middle could feel the wood from the frame.

An enjoyable stay.

We found that we could rent this three bedroom house with a private pool and get a rental car for about $50 more than staying at a less expensive Disney Hotel.

We've stayed at other Florida Spirit properties and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property seems to be at the more value end of the properties, but was still clean and nice. The kitchen is tiny and not stocked with extras you sometimes find in rentals, such as spices or other items left by previous renters, so if you plan to cook, please be aware that you will need to get all the ingredients. The televisions are very small, but have cable. We didn't notice the usual DVD player or movies, but may have missed it. We also had problems with the internet because someone evidently changed the network name and password and the Florida Spirit people couldn't fix it. We stopped asking and just used our cell phones and hot spots.

HAving your own pool is a great thing! Not too many pool toys, though, so you might want to bring/get your own, especially if you have small kids.

A few minor upgrades would greatly enhance this property. The initial supplies of toilet paper and paper towels are very cheap quality. Better quality would cost an insignificant amount and improve the rental experience. Also, an upgrade to larger smart TVs would be great and relatively inexpensive. Allow previous renters to leave spices and other non-perishable items that would enhance the experience because we had a kitchen to cook in, but didn't want to spend money on spices, syrup or other items that we'd only use a small amount of and then toss out.

Dirty carpets, dated house, A/c not working

Air conditioning was not working in small bedrooms, headboards are wobbly, spring mattress are uncomfortable, red blankets are unwashed, various stains and dust accumulate on carpet, tv remote not working, lounge sofa is sagged, some plates and pans are unwashed when first use, kettle is rusty, kitchen spot lights faulty, switches are not labelled, loads of dead flies on the pool surface before first use, pool is freezing cold, some towels are dirty, pool barrier is unsafe and has gaps

Great location!

We had a great stay at Sandy Oasis! Despite the homes being close, it was a quiet neighborhood. The location was very convenient for drives to the major theme parks. Only complaints would be that the beds are bit uncomfortable and the living room couch has seen better days. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend this nice home.

House was great glad I rented one with a pool and hot tub. Only problem I had was when we arrived at midnight the code didn't work. This was fixed with 2 phone calls. We didn't do the big parks we did Sea World Discovery Cove and took us 55 minutes to get there and back each time. I would stay closer next time. Over all great house.

Not my best Florida spirits rwntal

I love Florida spirits and have rented through them for many years . However this Home was pretty gross. It smelled of urine, and clearly could be seen the carpets were covered in old stains. The master bedroom bed I’m not sure has any springs left in it as well as mold in both showers . The tub was the cleanest. Bathroom in house however that bathroom stunk like cigarette smoke. The living furniture was worn down filthy and smelled awful. Also the master shower still had hair in the drain cover and wasn’t properly cleaned we made the best of it bought a lot of air freshener and wore shoes our entire vacation. I would absolutely rent from Florida spirits again just not this particular home

BEST VACATION IN A LONG TIME

The house was very clean and better than expected. It was 5 of us and they only gave us 3 wash clothes, I called and by the time we came home from the park we had more wash clothes and towels. We were able to cook dinner every night so the only thing we had to do was buy groceries they supplied everything else. Only complaint was no TV in the kids room. We will use the company again.

Enjoyed our stay at the Sandy Oasis!

We were happy with our stay at the Sandy Oasis. One thing I would recommend - is possibly a vending machine with single serving laundry soap, and dish soap.

This is the 2nd time I've rented from Florida Spirit - and have recommended, and will continue recommending your rentals, as well as this house specifically.

The biggest problem we had the beds are very uncomfortable when you come from the park and tire you want to come home to some comfortable beds and they were not! And the TV in the living room didn't work

We had a great time during our stay in Davenport however there were a few issues. One of the smoke detectors beeped all night one night and we couldn't reach it due to the high ceilings. The showerheads could be replaced and the bed in the master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. The house could also use a few more items in the kitchen like plastic containers to take along for picnics and a corkscrew to name a few. When it came time to take the trash out the bins were jammed full and very heavy to move. The property company took care of that for us though. Lastly, we weren't really comfortable that someone entered the house to drop off a pizza flyer, it could have been left outside the door. Other than that we still enjoyed our time.

Sandy Oasis is a great home. We work highly to keep our houses safe and secure. Nobody is allowed into the home, only your party. We do hope that you come back to see us so we can give you a return guest discount!!

AWESOME STAY!

After a long long looong drive from Southeast Texas we arrived at the home. Other than food and other small household items we had everything. Extra pillows, blankets, kitchen and bathroom items. The pool area was very spacious and the pool is also a good size. I have nothing but great things to say about Sandy Oasis. Felt like home.
