The property was awesome just a few upgrades needed. We had a few obstacles with the TV's. Three days without TV. The property manager was very helpful in getting the situation fixed. The correspondence between us was awesome.

Overall our experience was good. We absolutely loved the pool area. The best pool area thus far. The house needs to be cleaned a lot better than what it was, so the prior reviews were correct with this. We brought our own cleaning stuff as we always do just incase. I would consider and suggest adding an ice machine to the freezer. The ice trays were dirty as well. We ended up buying ice. The parking could be better. The garage was locked so we couldn't access additional parking near the house, so just know to only travel with 2 cars,or risk the chance of your vehicle being towed. You can park at the clubhouse but it isn't near the house. We had issues with the entry pin about 2 nights in, but the staff was great with assisting us. The previous trash bins hadn't been dumped, so we had limited space to dump our trash. The recycling bin was screwed down as well. The owners do not allow you to turn the air below 74. There were times when the house got extremely hot. I understand we're in the fall season, but we are still in Florida, southern Florida at that- it's still hot outside. Only one bedroom had a fan and there are no extra stand alone fans, so you will have to purchase your own. Be sure to bring extra towels and wash cloths like we did for your makeup/ menstrual to avoid any fees of stains- all of the towels are white. The check-in/ out times are different on your contract versus VRBO, so pay attention to that. I would suggest a check-in/out tablet as well. Overall, this was a good house, nice decorations, a good stay- it just needs deep cleaning.

This rental was not expensive so maybe I shouldn't have expected much. Examples of things that were dissapointments
- the pots and pans were ancient and in terrible shape
- there wasn't anything to clean dishes with, no soap left, one trash bag, not a coffee filter. These are things that previous renters have purchased and I'm sure left. You could leave a few simple things in there for your renters.
- no extra towels. One per bed. no pool towels.
- barely enough silverware for 6 people. Knives were old, dull, and not a full set.
It is obvious that this is all about spending nothing and maximizing the rental income.
- I would be glad in paying a little more to have some decent basic amenities.

This rental experience got off to a rocky start when the first house we booked was sold and no longer available. While not Florida Spirit’s fault, it was disappointing to lose a house we had searched hard which had cute themed rooms for our kiddos and have it replaced with a very plain house. Spanish Sunset had enough rooms, the description says it sleeps 12 but there is only room for 2 cars in the driveway and dire warnings that your car will be towed if you park in the street or on the grass. Since we had 8 adults and 3 kids we traveled in three cars. The management firm agreed to let us park another property that was not being rented for the week. The first suggestion was to call a storage place that was five miles away, would have been an additional expense and was booked! When I called the place they politely informed me they hadn’t had room for two years and got these calls all the time! I think lack of parking should be clearly stated.
The house itself was spacious. The description claimed that all the tvs were smart tvs but I guess you need to have your own subscriptions as no passwords were given or instructions on how to use them. Kids played their systems (brought from home) more than watched tv.
Other minuses included: The workout equipment shown in the photos did not work and the batteries in one of the machines was corroded. The carpets were worn and stained. One eye on the stove did not work. We bought another cookie sheet and some pot holders and brought pans. The handle on the freezer door came off, it had been super glued. The house thermostat was set at 74 and could not be moved, that would have been okay if there were fans but we only found one. We never could get the hot tub to heat up and directions were not clear.
Plusses: the beds and pillows were very comfortable, there were plenty of dishes, the house was very clean, the pool area was nice, it’s conveniently located.
Overall adequate if not perfect.

House was perfect, plenty of room for everyone. It was clean, neighborhood was quiet and convenient to everything. Loved the pool, it was a blast. We rented last minute and the process was so smooth. I will definitely be using Florida Spirit Vacation Homes again. They were informative and communication was excellent from start to finish.

I have stayed in many vacation homes with Florida spirit and this one didn’t seem as good as the last ones I stayed in. I stayed from Jan 23- Jan 28 the house was Beautiful and a a lot of space to fit all my Guest. Some minor problems we had was it says it can fit up to 12 people to sleep but the kitchen doesn’t have a lot of utensils the coffee pot was broken so we had to buy a new one they said it was a heated pool but the pool didn’t feel that it had much heat in it The upstairs master bedroom water pressure in the shower was very low and on the head of the shower it look like there was mold on it another upstairs bedroom it look like there was mold on the shower curtain and it looks like the house could’ve been cleaned a little bit better than what it was. I would stay in this house again if things were fixed that I mentioned

Staff were professional and very helpful. There was a problem with one of the TVs and they were prompt in fixing it. I was disappointed in some cleanliness issues. The front door area needed to be blown out. The carpet going upstairs is dirty and needs cleaning. The carpet upstairs was ok. And the wall at bottom of stairs needs to be painted. One of the bathroom toilets had mold in it so obviously it had not been used or cleaned in a while. If these things are fixed I would recommend the house. There are plenty of kitchen utensils if you choose to cook.

Fair warning, communication is spotty at best with this rental. One of our guests left something behind and we immediately contacted the rental company to try to get the item back. We are talking hours after leaving the house. As of two days later, we still have not heard back. They use an answering service and are not good about returning phone calls at all. The house is large for big parties. It is not the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. There was broken glass on the floor in the kitchen around the stove and refrigerator which was a bit concerning with a two-year-old. My boys enjoyed the pool table and foosball table that were upstairs.

We loved the house although we had some very minor issues. For one, the air conditioning upstairs was not working upon our arrival, but luckily a repair man was there to fix it and communicated with us throughout the process. The thermostat also states that the air conditioner must not be set lower than 76 degrees which is simply ridiculous considering the weather was between 70-88 degrees during our stay. Also, there appeared to be blood on one of the bedroom door entryways and also on the linens of one of the beds. This was handled a couple of hours after calling the number listed in VRBO. The parking situation should be described in the listing. There is a 2 car limit, yet we booked the home for 9 adults. We had a total of 5 vehicles needing parking. Please update the description to inform others that they will not have available parking for more than two vehicles. Also, we were notified that the owner of the home keeps their vehicle in the garage, which is why the garage is off limits. Clearly, expanding the driveway would be difficult, but making the garage available could alleviate the inconvenience of limited parking.
My family and I truly enjoyed our vacation, despite these downfalls. The house was SO beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool. The neighborhood appears to be extremely new and well-maintained. I even tried to encourage my parents to consider touring some of the homes available for purchase because we loved the area so much. We spent the great majority of our 4 night stay in the house due to the extensive living space. We brought our own toiletries to use since the “starter package” was very minimal, but we truly had all that we could have asked for in this home!

Very Spacious Accommodations on Yorkshire 6 bedroom home Large, heated Hot tub was wonderful and our #1 priority for spring break getaway. Location was perfect in secure gated community with quick access to all recreation anywhere. All beds/bedding comfortable and on site laundry facilities definite plus. Driveway can park two mid size rentals only. We would definitely rent the facilities again. The home was huge with plenty of space for everyone! Highly recommend the Orlando Water complex. OWC and Cinépolis Theater. Excellent guide on the Showcase Citrus Monster truck tour. Excellent communication with Brian prior to arrival but then he never did reply to our requests once we checked in which was disappointing. We did not ever get the pool heat up to 85 as promised and since he never replied we could not use the pool, only the hot tub which was wonderful thankfully. I still have not heard anything back from him. Hope he is ok, very odd since early communications were fast.

This is a wonderful house! We loved it. It was huge and provided lots of space for our group. Everything about it was perfect with the exception of the kitchen utensils and pans. There were only two frying pans of medium size which were in very poor (scratched) condition. There were no large serving platters etc. If you are staying in a house that will sleep up to 12...one would think the kitchen would accommodate cooking for a group of that size. Other than that it was great. Beautiful home.

The home was nice, the carpets were a surprisingly worn down for a relatively new home. The bar stools when we arrived had cross bars on the floor. Air conditioning restrictions were a little tight, not allowed to put below 76 degrees, that made it warm in the home.

Rental was excellent and exactly what we were looking for! We stayed here with my family and my sister's family. Two king beds ensured the adults were comfortable - and we have a bed for each kid so everyone had good sleep. Beds were comfortable and indoor pool table and foosball table were a huge hit with the kids aged 11 - 5 years old. Pool was awesome. We had two issues when we arrived at the property - first one was an broken air conditioning upstairs which was fixed the same day I called. The second was a leaking shower that was also promptly fixed. Pool was excellent size and temperature. I would have liked to have a pool skimmer to use each morning, but pool was cleaned during our stay. I love the full size laundry in the house as I went home with everything clean and was unpacked within an hour of arriving home. This is my 4th rental with Florida Spirit and this was the best rental property of them all. We would definitely stay here again.

No ceiling fans to cool upstairs rooms

We experienced very hot rooms upstairs. Called twice to come and fix and were told everything was fine. No relief and very uncomfortable. Will never stay in another home without ceiling fans. The air conditioning was not able to cool upstairs- to the point of not being able to be upstairs to use media or pool table rooms- sleeping very uncomfortable. The beds were very good and not enough towels and washcloths -had to wash everyday. Kitchen not very well equipped had to go purchase bowls and muffin tins. Would not choose this home again due to the cooling issue.

The rental was very nice however a lack of attention in a couple of important areas affected our stay. We had specifically mentioned that we would need to use the spa but it did not heat and hence we could not use it until they fixed in on the last day of our (4 day stay). We weren't able to request any support over the weekend as they were closed and then I had to leavre multiple messages before I could speak to someone about the issue. We were very disappointed that so much money was spent and no effort was made prior to our stay to ensure the spa was in working condition. There was also no mention that there are no fans in the entire house. This was unsettling for some of the guests in our party. Also, minor details such as fridge handle missing, holes in blinds, no bottle opener, mildewy smelling towels... changes that can easily be made to improve the experience. Nice house and quiet location otherwise.

This is the sixth year that my family and I have used Florida Spirit Vacation Homes to make our annual family vacation an enjoyable one. This year was a "knockout the park". Spanish Sunset home was remarkable. My granddaughters said their room was for the princesses that they really are.
The bedrooms were comfortable,clean and spacious. The living space and play area allowed the children to be separated when needed.
It was also wonderful to have the pool to dip into and relax after a long day at the parks and shopping. I will recommend this home as well as use it again, Cant wait for 2017 vacation
