Appropriately named Water’s Edge, this newly remodeled vacation rental is situated directly on Destiny West lake and across the street from the Gulf. It’s also completely on trend thanks to its beach sleek design including quartzite counters and 2’ by 2’ white tile floors contrasted by sleek black and gold furnishings. However, shiplap walls, overstuffed couches, soft suede chairs, natural wood accents and colorful art add just the right amount of warmth.
Water’s Edge has all the niceties you would expect from a new Destin vacation rental home located in the sought-after neighborhood of Destiny West in Destin Florida. The pool deck stretches to the lake and boasts modern outdoor furnishings, a sun shelf and sill-over spa and the good fortune of getting full sun all day. Next consider the kitchen and dining area. Between the waterfall island, the dining table, a custom bench and an additional natural wood bar there is seating for 12. A fantastic place to play chef, the kitchen and wine bar have everything you need to entertain guests. Plus, you’ll also find a full laundry room on the first floor.
As you make your way up the stairs the beach sleek design continues in each of the five bedrooms. The southern facing bedrooms have access to the second floor balcony and the Primary bedroom in particular shines with its luxury bathroom featuring a free standing tub and glass shower. Finally, the third floor entertainment room and its balcony have such gorgeous views of the lake and beach that its owners adoringly call it Holly’s Haven. Yes, pride in ownership is clearly evident in all the details that make up this modern home on the water. Additionally, guests can enjoy Destiny West’s pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, the beach across the street and myriads of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
GOLF CARTS- they are allowed, but it will take up 1 of your parking passes. They must be rented through Destin Elite Golf Carts, you will mention booking code DWR. If a golf cart is rented with another company you will be fined $100 a day by the HOA.
For safety and security, this vacation rental home is equipped with an external camera/ring doorbell.
This pool can be heated between October- April for an additional daily fee upon request to our office. There is an additional charge for heating requests within 48 hours of check-in.
Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.
We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.
We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students.
