"Aquaview" an older safe, clean, and simple basic rustic lodge 5 bedrooms, 3
bath home with views of the Gulf of Mexico. Built on 13-ft. stills, this home
is ideal for young, fun-loving families.
A kids, sun-set fanciers', and swimmers' delight with the largest private
rental home pool in Old Seagrove Beach, T-shaped, 40' x 31' (max. dimensions),
screened-in, and tree-shaded for summer comfort, its straight 40-ft. long lap
lanes widening out to include a 16 x 16 ft. stepped toddlers area, w/1 ft. & 2
ft deep zones, outlined with PVC surface level markers to separate depths
before deepening to grade school kids and then standing adult levels.
There is no deep end. Safety is king and diving is not allowed.
Next to the pool enclosure is an open sunbathing deck with charcoal grill,
table & chairs. "Aquaview" is only 3 doors from Old Seagroves famous dining
restaurants, such as "Whiskey Bravo" with a rooftop bar and dining room as
well as ones downstairs like "Cow Girl Kitchen" which serves breakfast and
lunch.
The home offers a sheltered wood-decked ground floor recreation area featuring
an all-weather ping pong table, low basketball net for sub-teens (no slam
dunks permitted) and a screened-in & roofed over dining/cocktail patio on its
lowest level.
Guests in the kitchen, dining area, living room and front porch on the main
living area level upstairs enjoy a broad south view of the Gulf's magnificent
blue and emerald colors. "Aquaview" was built by the homeowner in the 1980's,
it has 1978-style sheets of wood paneling on the walls, standard appliances,
basic low-cost furniture, and no antiques, or fancy paintings or luxury
touches except the very large pool and the jetted whirlpool tub between the
second largest Queen bedroom and the small, children's bunk room.
One of the home's two clothes washers, a small one, is handily located up on
the main top level living floor for easy access and another full-size washer
plus a large dryer are down in the main laundry & ironing room on the ground
level.
Parking is available on site for 4-6 vehicles.
